We moved from Ventura to Simi Valley last weekend and the crew at Sheeler (Movegreen) made the experience as smooth as these sorts of things can possibly be. Everyone was very careful with our things, respectful of home and extremely polite. Those guys worked their tails off. Overall it was a good experience. I really appreciated the follow up we received from Bill in their main office – calling us to confirm and offering extras like wardrobe boxes. To me, good communication is the most important factor in eliminating stressful situations. I should mention that Sheeler’s (Movegreen’s) pricing beat the other two quotes we got by more than 30%. Moving is expensive and I appreciate that they came in at such a reasonable rate.
The best part of our international move was the last leg provided by Movegreen. Megan in the office was always available at a moments notice and it made a big difference since the other logistic firm which initiated the move was keeping us in the dark. We didn’t know when our container would arrive and then all of a sudden it was here. Megan got the team cracking and our shipment was off loaded, repacked and then trucked to our home in a few short hours. The team, John, Zak and Kyle made short work of getting our belongings safely into place and a special nod to John who negotiated a difficult, narrow driveway that could have been a problem to a less experienced or careless driver. Moving is always stressful and we have always done it ourselves because you don’t know what you’re going to get but I have to say Movegreen is a friendly, dependable group of professionals who put us at ease and completed our journey.
